Wireless calendar synchronization known issues
If a user responds to an updated meeting request from a BlackBerry® device, the meeting tracking information in the calendar
for the meeting organizer is not updated. (403685)
When a user creates an all-day calendar entry on a BlackBerry device, the date format does not display correct in Microsoft®
Outlook®. (403677)
When a BlackBerry device user adds notes to a meeting request and forwards the meeting request from Microsoft Outlook, the
notes do not display in the recipient's calendar in Microsoft Outlook. (403523)
In an environment that includes multiple domains, when a meeting organizer sends a meeting invitation with an attachment to
users in different domains, the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server removes the content in the meeting invitation. (403200)
Workaround: Consider the following options:
Before accepting the message, users can view the content using Microsoft Outlook.
If the user has already accepted the message from the BlackBerry device, view the message and attachment in the Deleted
folder in Microsoft Outlook.
If a delegate accepts a meeting on behalf of a BlackBerry device user, the meeting shows as tentative in the calendar of the user.
(403191)
Workaround: Consider the following options:
Turn off caching mode on the delegate's mailbox.
Instruct the delegate to wait some time after receiving a meeting request before accepting it.
Turn off meeting notification.
Filter meeting invites to subfolder in the user's mailbox that is not synchronized to the BlackBerry device.
If a calendar entry includes invalid characters, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent does not validate the calendar entry and writes
the "Invalid log entry" error message to the log file. (398633)
In an environment that includes CDO version 6.5.8131.0, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not include the following
timezones: Greenland Standard Time, Yakutsk Standard Time, Central Brazilian Standard Time, Mauritius Standard Time,
Montevideo Standard Time, Kamchatka Standard Time, Tonga Standard Time, Paraguay Standard Time, and UTC. (367721)
In certain circumstances, BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry® Device Software version 5.0 do not calculate the hashes for
calendar entries correctly and the BlackBerry devices and BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronize all calendar entries. (110882)
Workaround: Turn off calendar synchronization over the wireless network or configure calendar synchronization for these
BlackBerry devices so that synchronization does not occur frequently.
