Wireless calendar synchronization issues fixed in this release
If the recurrence data for a meeting was corrupt, updates to the meeting were not synchronized to the meeting participants’
BlackBerry® devices. (SDR 289133)
If a user updated a calendar appointment from the BlackBerry device that contained Japanese characters in the subject, location,
or message body fields and sent the update to the meeting participants, the Japanese characters did not appear correctly when
recipients viewed the updated calendar appointment in Microsoft® Outlook®. (SDR 270737)
Meeting requests sent using rich-text format in the body of the message were converted to plain text when the user opened the
meeting on their BlackBerry device. (SDR 266939)
If a user configured their mailbox to forward all meeting requests to a delegate user, and the delegate user tentatively accepted
a meeting request on behalf of the invited user while the invited user was out of a wireless coverage area, subsequent updates
to the meeting might not have synchronized successfully to the invited user’s BlackBerry device. (SDR 264712)
If the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server could not read the default IT Policy settings in the BlackBerry Configuration Database due
to a network failure, wireless calendar updates were not sent to users' BlackBerry devices. (SDR 231582)
In certain circumstances, users could not accept an updated or rescheduled meeting invitation using their BlackBerry devices if
users had already accepted the original meeting invitation using their BlackBerry devices. (SDR 257261)
In certain circumstances, if the "Display new (unprocessed) notices" option was turned on on the BlackBerry device, the user
could not accept a calendar event that has changed. (SDR 218100)
If users accepted a meeting invitation using Microsoft Outlook while the BlackBerry Enterprise Server was not responding, and
the BlackBerry Messaging Agent ran a message rescan when it restarted, the meeting was not synchronized to the calendar on
users’ BlackBerry devices. (SDR 192395)
Calendar meetings might be one hour behind between May 31 and August 31, 2009, in Pakistan and Morocco, as daylight saving
time (DST) was introduced in these nations. (SDR 188415, SDR 185807, SDR 187706)
If a user sent a meeting request using Microsoft Outlook, and a recipient proposed a new time for the meeting using Microsoft
Outlook, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent might have modified the meeting update. As a result, when the meeting organizer
opened the updated meeting in Microsoft Outlook, the new proposed time did not display in the Scheduling tab. (SDR 132389)
