SDR 85325 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if your database environment was Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft SQL
Server 2000 driver for Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) Service Pack 3 was installed on the same computer on which you
planned to upgrade the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the setup program failed to locate the JDBC driver.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, the setup program successfully locates the JDBC driver.
SDR 84016 If you upgraded the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.0 SP4 to Version 4.1, the upgrade process did not complete
successfully initially and if it was re-run.
If you upgrade the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.0 SP4 to Version 4.1 SP1, the upgrade process completes successfully.
SDR 83472 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, in some circumstances, if you installed a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with a
language package (for example, Simplified Chinese) in an environment that used the same language, the installation process
might not have completed successfully and the “Test Database connection returned an unknown error” error appeared.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 82057 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you removed an instance of the BlackBerry MDS Services, some settings remained
on the computer. If you installed an instance of the BlackBerry MDS Services on the same computer, the setup program might
have attempted to perform an upgrade instead of an installation and the process did not complete successfully.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 81949 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if your database environment was Microsoft SQL Server and you installed the
Microsoft SQL Server on the same computer on which you planned to install the BlackBerry Enterprise Server using a custom
instance name for the database server, the setup program did not recognize the local installation and prompted you to either
install MSDE or to use a remote Microsoft SQL Server.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, the setup program recognizes the local installation.
SDR 81554 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if your database environment was Microsoft SQL Server and you attempted to install
the BlackBerry Enterprise Server using the minimum required database permissions, the installation did not complete
successfully.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 80923 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you were installing two BlackBerry MDS Services databases, the setup program
permitted you to use the same name for both of the databases and did not display a warning that this was an error.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, the setup program does not permit you to use the same name for both
of the databases.
SDR 80504 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you copied the BlackBerry Enterprise Server installation media to a folder that
contained non-basic ANSI characters, the setup program did not continue after the computer restarted.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 78162 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you were installing the BlackBerry Enterprise Server with BlackBerry MDS Services
and you pressed ENTER instead of clicking Finish on the last screen of the setup program, the required post-installation tasks
did not complete successfully.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.

In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 87684 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier if a meeting organizer created an appointment from the desktop
computer, after wireless calendar synchronization occurred, the meeting organizer was unable to add invitees from the
BlackBerry device.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 87452 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if a meeting invitee accepted a meeting invitation immediately after it was received,
and before the BlackBerry Enterprise Server could react to the invitation, neither the meeting invitation email nor the calendar
item were delivered to the invitee’s BlackBerry device.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
