SDR 69163 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if the connection to the BlackBerry Configuration Database became unavailable and
then was restored, you could not administer instances of the BlackBerry MDS Services from the BlackBerry Manager.

SDR 78765 In earlier versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, if a user deleted a BlackBerry MDS Studio Application from the BlackBerry
MDS Control Center and then restored the application to the BlackBerry device using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, the
BlackBerry MDS Service still considered the application as being deleted. You could not administer this application in the
BlackBerry Manager and users could not send or receive information in the application.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 78744 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you selected “Required” when you pushed a BlackBerry MDS Studio Application
to BlackBerry devices, a confirmation message appeared on the BlackBerry devices asking users to confirm whether they wanted
to install the BlackBerry MDS Studio Application.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, the BlackBerry MDS Studio Application installs silently on BlackBerry
devices without user interaction.
SDR 75286 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, when upgrading the BlackBerry Enterprise Server with BlackBerry MDS Services, the
BlackBerry MDS Services might have started after the BlackBerry Enterprise Server restarted during the upgrade, and the setup
program could not complete successfully.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
BlackBerry Messaging Agent
SDR 92311 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if two users had the same first name and similar last names and one user
account became unavailable, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server restarted the wrong user account.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 86913 After upgrading to BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent stopped responding if a user
account was no longer in the Microsoft Active Directory®.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 55338 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if a domain controller stopped responding, the messaging server
changed to another domain controller but the BlackBerry Enterprise Server did not, and users were unable to send messages
from their BlackBerry devices.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.

BlackBerry Policy Service
SDR 94449 In previous versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, when the BlackBerry Policy Service was restarted, it resent outstanding
IT Admin commands that were sent to but not accepted by BlackBerry devices. This might have caused BlackBerry devices to be
deactivated from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 93824 In previous versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, time stamps for IT policies that the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
delivered to BlackBerry devices wirelessly did not accurately display the time at which they were delivered. Subsequent
attempts to deliver IT policies to BlackBerry devices failed.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 78299 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, the BlackBerry Policy Service logged a common event (“Instantiated a
PackageDB object”) at a higher level than necessary.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, the BlackBerry Policy Service logs common events at a lower level.
Setup program
SDR 93979 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if you upgraded the BlackBerry Enterprise Server with BlackBerry MDS Services
Version 4.1 to Version 4.1 SP1, the setup program permitted you to select an upgrade for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server with
BlackBerry MDS Services or for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server alone.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 86657 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, if your database environment was Microsoft SQL Server and while installing the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server you specified a database name that contained a dash, you received error messages and the
installation process did not complete successfully.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, you can specify a database name that contains a dash.
