For example

Oracle Instance Name: Portal1

Click Next

Select Domain Select Create New Domain and enter the values:

User Name: Name of user to log into the WebLogic domain.

User Password: Password for the domain.

Confirm Password: The same as above

Domain Name: Name for the Domain: PortalDomain

Click Next

Configure

Components

As a minimum ensure that the following values are checked:

Server Components – Oracle Portal

Management Components – Enterprise Manager

Ensure that the clustered box is ticked.

Click Next.

Configure Ports Select Specify Ports using Configuration File

In HA implementations whilst not mandatory it makes life simpler if all of

the ports used by the various components are synchronized across hosts.

Oracle allows the bypassing of Automatic port Configuration by specifying

ports to be used in a file.

Select a File Name and then click View/Edit. The file will look like this:
